BizCheck — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
Account information (name, email, business name, role), job and financial data you enter (job details, expenses, labor hours, revenue entries, categories), photos and receipts you upload, and content posted to shared features like the bulletin board.
2. How We Use Information
To provide and operate the BizCheck service, calculate job profitability and reporting for your business, process subscription payments, and communicate with you about your account.
3. Third-Party Services
BizCheck relies on the following third-party services to operate, each of which processes certain data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication) — stores your account, business, and job data, and handles login.
- Cloudinary — stores photos and receipt images you upload.
- Stripe (acting as merchant of record via Stripe Managed Payments) — processes subscription payments. BizCheck does not store your full payment card details; Stripe handles that directly.
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data they process.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard practices, including role-based access controls, to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your business's data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we may retain data for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, or backup purposes.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to or deletion of your business's data by contacting burnsgrey3@gmail.com. Deletion requests will be honored except where we are required to retain information by law.
7. Children's Privacy
BizCheck is a business tool intended for use by adults in a professional capacity and is not directed at or intended for use by children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of BizCheck after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
